It does indeed hold down job and school without apparent botheration. However it should not be judged on that alone. As counter evidence I present the present this Child bought for itself, something it felt was particularly suitable to mark the occasion of it leaving its irresponsible teens forever:

What are they? See them (and the Child) in action -

Yup, I think it's ready to take on its 20's with style and sophistication.

"I'm ok!"
OH I SO want to have a go on them!where did child 1 get them?...what are they called so I can google them?
I think they are the perfect thing to mark the occasion of leaving my irresponsible forty third year behind!!!
they are flyjumpers and they are awesome!
Anonymous - yup, Male Child, 2 minutes into trying 'em. However, Male Child added, smugly, "see, the thing is when I'm bored I fall, so I'm really good at it."
Mujja - don't they look fantastic! Child 1 has a sort of praying-mantis look when wearing them while the Male Child is unmistakably a giraffe. I've been too chicken to strap them on yet, but I really, really want too.
Child 2 - you've never tried em have you??
nope! i'm waiting until there is no one around to make fun of me.
They are so fun! I got them on amazon and they are called flyjumpers.
