No time today so I thought I'd cheat and just post this photo I found the other day. I was going through a box - a box I'd put off going through for ages. The kind of box that starts out holding non-vital but important stuff that should be sorted and saved and filed and generally organized and ends up collecting more and more such items, always with the intention that yes, when I have a moment I'll definitely properly go through that box.
Yes, well it only took four months! Anyway, among a wide assortment of things I found this. Terrifyingly young weren't we?

Once again you took my breath away and brought tears to my eyes! You look, in this BEAUTIFULLY YOUTHFUL photo, just as I remember you both - so connected!
It's my new computer wallpaper - I love it. We have a more formal (not professional natch, just more traditional) picture I don't like nearly as much. This one... well, it sums it up!
What a lovely couple - it's a great photograph. You both look radiant and happy. It wasn't framed?
Nope. We had planned to be married in December, then Kirk went to basic and we were apart for a month or two and he though, why on earth are we putting this off, and I thought, gee, I don't know, so we pushed it up to April instead (that's the shortish version of the longish story). Anyway, we threw together a wedding and reception in about a month and my mother JUST escaped having a heart attack and three fits but it meant not having a proper anything - home made dress, home made cake (from a darling friend), and photos from whoever showed up with a camera on the day. We sort of bunged the photos into an envelope and figured some day we would do something with them - never did! What we were doing at the time was always so much more fun... anyway, it was a bit of a start to come across this in the Box Of Doom but I think I'm glad I did!
