Child 2 and I had an involved and intelligent discussion yesterday about romantic archetypes in literature and popular culture - you know, as you do.
Because it was Child 2 and me this discussion was naturally extremely erudite and thoughtful. We brought up examples, made comparisons and supported our arguments with brilliance. Finally we reached a firm and undeniable conclusion.
Ms. Piggy totally didn't deserve Kermit the Frog.

True, true. In fact it must rank among the top movie kisses along with the one between Sgt. Milton Warden and Karen Holmes in “From Here to Eternity,” and the kiss shared by Jack Burton and Gracie Law in "Big Trouble in Little China."
Agreed! I could never see what Kermit saw in her.
"The Princess Bride" will always have the best kisses.
And I always loved the one in "Overboard" after they both jumped into the water following the Arturo/Catalina exchange. *sigh*
It always pissed me off that he stuck around through all her crap.
